it seems that conker believes that dumb questions are questions asking something that one already knows.

like Pie said, doing that is just a subtler way of finding out someone else's opinion.

in our situation, stupid questions are asked when someone who is new to Guild Wars starts a thread in the Q&A forum about something that is totally obvious to the more experienced players here.

or someone asking what the hell faction is for.

They just wanted to see what was wrong.. if it was obvious (blood, arm bent backwards) they should still ask to see who to contact. Just imagine if someone got a papercut, then the person next to them assumes that their dying, they call an ambulance... Huge embarrassment ftw. ( This.. happened in real life -_- ) But hopefully, you made it out ok.

well really if your not screaming in pain they ask that to see if your still alive they train medicas too do just that no point in fixing up a guy thats already dead.
